Sainte-Mère-Église - Hell Let Loose

Sainte-Mère-Église was the introduction of greater focus on urban combat to Hell Let Loose. Well known historically for the incident involving paratrooper John Steele, whose parachute got caught on the church spire in the town.

I was responsible for both design and level art, and additionally as a 3D Artist. It was a beast of a map to make, requiring extensive architectural elements, attention to flow, making a believable and intricate town environment, and optimizing it.

Big thanks to the Hell Let Loose art team for their involvement:

Lead Environment Artist - Danny Ivan Flu
Project Lead, Lighting, atmospherics, and art support - Max Rea
